About 10 lakh rupees was looted by breaking the bank vault in Bogra

A robbery has taken place at a branch of a private bank in Bogra. The bank authorities demanded loot of Tk 9 lakh 80 thousand by breaking the vault.

The incident took place at the NRBC Bank branch in Pallimangal Hat area of the city on Friday (26th January). Bank officials said that the sub-branch is on the ground floor of a two-story building on the side of the road. At some point in the night, miscreants entered through the roof. He broke the lock and entered the bank. It is then claimed that the vault was broken and money was looted.

Police visited the scene. Evidence has been collected. An operation is underway to identify those involved.
